We are looking for professional, hardworking, individuals who are experienced in blast-hole loading operations.
A successful applicant must possess the following skills and abilities.
· Always focus on safety of self and coworkers
· Understand the blasting process from start to finish
· Correctly load ANFO to designed load height
· Correctly stem blast holes
· Tie and time blast patterns as designed
· Understand the difference between explosive products and how they are used
· Install air decks as designed
· Follow all instructions given by supervisors
· Lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
· Work in inclement weather and rugged terrain
· Accurately complete daily digital paperwork
· Must possess OSHA 10
· Must pass an ATF background check
· Previous experience of 1 year is required
· Understand ground conditions and how they may affect blasting operations
· Maintain a high level of production daily
· Maintain productivity while working unsupervised
· Maintain a positive and professional attitude
· Set personal goals and help to set team goals that are challenging
· Perform basic maintenance functions
· Perform pre and post shift inspections of equipment.
· Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
