EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES TRAFFIC CONTROL OFFICER/FLAGGER
We currently have immediate openings for Traffic Control Officers and Traffic Control in multiple locations across Connecticut.
The Traffic Control Officer has the following responsibilities:
- Set up temporary work zones utilizing warning signs, traffic cones, barrels, etc. according to regulatory requirements
- Stand and safely manage traffic control through active work zones while using a stop/slow paddle and possible radio communication
- Have the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Perform any other general duties as specified. The typical requirements and duties of a Traffic Control Officer/Flagger:
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record by complying with standards established by CUS policy.
- Must possess own vehicle to drive to work and be able to follow crews throughout the day.
- Must obtain a negative drug test result prior to hire and maintain throughout term of employment.
- Flexible availability to include overtime and possible weekends.
- Must pass ATSSA Flagger Certification Training and CPR Training.(Provided by CUS)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
