EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES TRAFFIC CONTROL OFFICER/FLAGGER

We currently have immediate openings for Traffic Control Officers and Traffic Control in multiple locations across Connecticut.

The Traffic Control Officer has the following responsibilities:

Set up temporary work zones utilizing warning signs, traffic cones, barrels, etc. according to regulatory requirements

Stand and safely manage traffic control through active work zones while using a stop/slow paddle and possible radio communication
Have the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

Perform any other general duties as specified. The typical requirements and duties of a Traffic Control Officer/Flagger:

Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record by complying with standards established by CUS policy.

Must possess own vehicle to drive to work and be able to follow crews throughout the day.

Must obtain a negative drug test result prior to hire and maintain throughout term of employment.

Must pass ATSSA Flagger Certification Training and CPR Training.(Provided by CUS)
