General Summary of the Position-Project Superintendent
THIS POSITION REQUIRES EXPERIENCE WITH DOT PROJECTS-MANDATORY HEAVY HIGHWAY EXPERIENCE 3+YEARS
- Position includes working with project management, crews, subcontractors and owners. The following skills are required for this position:
- Experience building DOT and City/County projects.
- Strong communication, scheduling and team management skills.
- Scheduling, budgeting and time management skills.
- Leading a team, delegating responsibilities.
- Ability to monitor job schedules, budget guidelines, cost control, production, and materials.
- Partnering with project management to oversee scheduling and the quality of work performed will be a regular position task.
- Maintaining the project compliance with contract requirements, specifications, and safety.
- Conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
- Continual awareness and practice of construction safety procedures and standards.
Projects typically include various types of concrete structures, paving, interchanges, intersections, pipe, dirt, signals, and various other heavy highway projects.
Education, Training and Experience
- Desire 3+ years as a Superintendent / Highway work.
- Any additional combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
- Experience managing crews of various sizes.

Special Requirements
- Must be able to pass controlled substance test prior to employment.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR is required.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $133,000.00 per year
