Asphalt Paving Superintendent
We are currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Superintendent in beautiful Denver, Colorado. We have a $20M project that needs a no nonsense leader to handle cradle to grave. This position is with one of the top asphalt pavers and producers in the state, a family-run company for the last 32 years. We are looking for a leader who can execute self-perform asphalt paving projects quickly, efficiently, and above all else safely.

The Job
The Superintendent plays a crucial role in our operations, responsible for monitoring and directing the daily operations of asphalt paving crews and providing front-line leadership, guidance and support to all paving foremen and crews. They oversee all aspects of projects, including personnel, scheduling, safety policies, equipment/truck changes, output/production and quality. They work closely with Operations Manager, Transportation Dept., Asphalt Plants, Estimators, Project Managers, Safety, Traffic Control, Subcontractors and Customers.
Background Profile
· 5+ years’ experience managing self-performed asphalt paving, preferably civil or highway projects
· Experience working and building relationships with employees, foremen, customers, sub-contractors
· PC Literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products
· Bi-lingual - Spanish/English a plus but not required
· Valid Driver License and clean MVR
