Overview
We are seeking a landscape gardener to join our small team. This is a new company in the Beaches area in Jacksonville, as such there is a great opportunity for growth with the company. You'll be working alongside a highly skilled landscape designer to install some great, residential projects and you will receive excellent on-the-job training. We do plantings, stone work, pavers, lighting and are working on marketing meadow installations using native wildflowers and grasses for 2025.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and installation of gardens, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as weed whackers, blowers, and hand tools. Minimal mowing and blowing, we are not a maintenance company.
Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
Assist in paver installations
Produce social media content, videos and writing.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all tools are properly stored after use.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

Previous experience in landscape, gardening or agriculture is preferred.
Good working attitude with intent to learn and master plant related work.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Knowledge of plant types, soil conditions, and pest management practices is a plus.
Must possess a valid driver's license for transportation to job sites.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions carefully.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
