Overview
We are seeking a landscape gardener to join our small team. This is a new company in the Beaches area in Jacksonville, as such there is a great opportunity for growth with the company. You'll be working alongside a highly skilled landscape designer to install some great, residential projects and you will receive excellent on-the-job training. We do plantings, stone work, pavers, lighting and are working on marketing meadow installations using native wildflowers and grasses for 2025.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and installation of gardens, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as weed whackers, blowers, and hand tools. Minimal mowing and blowing, we are not a maintenance company.
- Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Assist in paver installations
- Produce social media content, videos and writing.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all tools are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape, gardening or agriculture is preferred.
- Good working attitude with intent to learn and master plant related work.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Knowledge of plant types, soil conditions, and pest management practices is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver's license for transportation to job sites.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
