Job Responsibilities:
● As a working foreman, lead a 2 to 4 person crew of process pipefitters, utilizing good leadership skills to keep the job on schedule, ensure a sufficient supply of parts while maintaining a safe working environment and working well with customers regarding project changes.
● Plan piping system layouts, installations or repairs according to specifications. Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machinery and equipment, using hand and power tools.
● Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading and welding, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders, benders and welders.
● Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, using brackets, clamps, tools and welding equipment.
● Inspect, examine and test installed systems and pipe lines, using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing and observation.

To be considered candidates must have:
● 5-10 years experience in assembly, installation and maintenance of pipe systems, pipe supports, plumbing methods and related equipment used in construction related trades
● A minimum of 2 years experience as a crew foreman, coordinating a smooth workflow and providing direction to less experienced team members
● Journeyman Process Pipe Fitter license or equivalent highly desired
● Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals
● Willingness and ability to work at heights
● Willingness and ability to travel up to 2 weeks at a time, up to 180 days per year
● Valid Driver’s License and a Clean driving record
● Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
● Commutable within 1 hour’s drive-time to our Chesnee location; Relocation assistance will not be provided and relocating applicants will not be considered.
