Job Responsibilities:
● As a member of a 2 to 4 person crew of process pipefitters, be responsible for the lay-out, assembly, and installation of a variety of metal and non-metal pipes, tubes and fittings, including iron, steel, copper and plastic and secure pipes to structure with brackets, clamps and hangars using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
● Measure and cut pipes using saws, pipe cutter, and cutting torch; Thread pipe, using pipe threading machine
● Connect pipes, using threaded, caulked, soldered, brazed, fused, cemented and welded joints
● Inspect, examine and test installed systems and pipe lines, using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing and observation.

To be considered candidates must have:
● 2 or more years experience in the assembly, installation and maintenance of pipe systems, pipe supports, plumbing methods and related equipment used in construction related trades
● Journeyman Process Pipe Fitter license or equivalent credentials and experience highly desired, but not required
● Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals
● Willingness and ability to work at heights
● Willingness and ability to travel up to 2 weeks at a time
● Valid Driver’s License and a Clean driving record
● Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
● Commutable within 1 hour’s drive-time to our Chesnee location; Relocation assistance will not be provided and relocating applicants will not be considered.
