Job Overview
We are seeking a safety-conscious WA state Certified Flagger to join our team on call. The Flagger will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic around shoulder tree work sites. Responsibilities
- Direct traffic safely around construction zones using appropriate hand signals and signage.
- Monitor and manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians to ensure safety at all times.
- Communicate with tree work crew to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding site conditions and traffic patterns.
- Report any hazards or issues that may affect safety or project progress.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Flagger.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong observational skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
Upcoming Forecast
We have the following shifts available in the month of December in Mercer Island. These will be paid at $54/hr.
