GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
· Act as “First-In-Command” on project sites and be professional, courteous, respectful, and helpful to everyone always.
· Act as a safety champion on all projects and lead this role by example. Enforce all safety rules and write violations when workers are not following company safety procedures.
· Establish and maintain a clean and well-organized construction project.
· Verifies subcontractor material in advance of need and for compliance with Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements.
· Review project safety, security, logistics, layout, and special condition requirements
· Implement Safety/Security Program including, set-up office and laydown areas, parking and other general and special condition requirements as required.
· Correct unsafe conditions immediately.
· Monitor and ensure workers and all subcontractors comply with safety and report all accidents IMMEDIATELY to Project Manager.
· Investigate all accidents and fill out an Accident Form completely.
· Supervise and coordinate various subcontractors to ensure contracts compliance.
· Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.
· Assume responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
· Provide technical, manpower, means, and method input to the estimating process as requested.
· Conduct effective and inclusive morning hurdles with crews to coordinate daily and weekly activities.
· Conduct weekly safety meetings and all progress meetings as required.
· Review, clarify and understand overall project scope as well as each individual subcontractor scope, plans and specifications, schedule, estimate of self-performed work, cost codes, general and special conditions.
· Review and understand subcontractor scope and schedule.
· Work with the Project Manager to develop the Project Schedule. Determine trade, staffing and material, tool and equipment requirements and confirm availability with Field Operations. Confirm Subcontractors can meet schedule requirements. Review schedule with customer.
· Establish project survey and base layout control and benchmarks.
· Maintain required project documentation such as Plans (with approved changes) specifications, as-builts, shop drawings, samples, inspections, test reports, meeting minutes, and daily logs.
· Assists in developing a project mobilization plan as well as reviews the plans and specs for scope and constructability.
· Develops, monitors, and executes the most efficient means, methods, and techniques of performing work in coordination with the internal project management team which consists of a Project Manager and Project Engineer.
· Dispatches and manages AHJ inspectors, surveyor, geotechnical engineers, and other 3rd party special inspection work as required.
· Develops and maintains harmonious relations with owner representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and various jurisdictional inspectors.
· Produces accurate project documentation to include three week look ahead schedules (3WLA), as-built drawings, and daily construction reports.
· Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
· Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout construction.
· Prepares field reports, quantity tracking, and other project reporting documents as needed.
· Minimized company exposure and project performance risks.
· Seeks out ways to improve the company's processes and exceed the customer's expectations.
· Coordinates execution of deficiency item corrections and punch list work.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
