Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm
Intermediate level position that is responsible for performing general maintenance on all stationary and mobile equipment. The Maintenance Technician will also assist with general facilities maintenance as needed.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in expanding their skills and advancing into specialty maintenance positions, including fabrication, industrial electrical work, and diesel mechanics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on stationary and rolling equipment (e.g., forklifts, loaders, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, chains) to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all machinery and tools are in proper working condition and meet safety standards.
- Assist in all areas of Maintenance as necessary including but not limited to:
- Mechanical maintenance of production equipment
- Facilities maintenance
- Equipment maintenance
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project status and challenges.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and provide input on process improvements.
This position may require overtime as needed to ensure prompt delivery of maintenance to critical production operations. This position also requires the employee to be on-call a minimum of once a week from 3:30 PM to 9 PM.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in maintenance, mechanics, or a related field are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in a maintenance or mechanical role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Willingness to learn and grow into specialized maintenance roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
