Join an employee-owned business with great pay and benefits! Local Road Crew staff are needed to service and install industrial equipment including conveyors and other industrial machinery . Must be familiar with chains, sprockets, belts, shafts, bearings, gearboxes, and air operated equipment. Some of the equipment is overhead so applicant must be able to work safely and out of a scissor lift. Steel erection and large machinery assembly along with alignment will also be done. Will be working with a seasoned Millwright, but must be able to work independently with given instructions and job scope. Good mechanical skills are required: welding skills are real benefit.
Applicant must have standard millwright / mechanic tools including up to 1/2" drive sets and wrenches up to 3/4". This job will require daily travel ,but majority is within the state of Maine and per diem is paid when you exceed a 50 mile one-way distance. Rarely there is some overnight work. Wage will be commensurate with experience.
We are only hiring employees who are current residents of Maine. Relocation pay is not available.
