Traffic Control Flagger

REQUIREMENTS:
- Maintain worksite equipment use
- Make sure traveling public is always safe
- Coordinate with crew leads on daily work plans/locations
- Work with crew leads or officers to ensure Job Tickets are accurately completed
- Coordinate with Officers on maintaining work zones
- Relay information to Officers/Crew Leads regarding team issues
- Complete final walkthrough that worksite equipment is collected
- Work with Officers for additional equipment or staff as needed
- Assist with setup and breakdown of worksite
- Maintained visibility outside of vehicles
- Inform workers that they are required up to 70-80% traveling around the greater Nashville area
RESPONSIBILTIES/DUTIES:
- Set-up signs, cones, etc. around work areas to divert traffic
- Follow all safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment (work boots - 6" with safety toe, hard hat & safety vest)
- Without supervision must be able to set up and perform flagger position at job site based on site plan and/or contractor directions
- Adhere to all MTTM Company policies and procedures
- Generally works under the supervision of Project Manager, TCT, TCS or Flagger II or maybe assigned to work independently
- Complete daily paperwork accurately and timely
- Operate 2-way radio
- Work well in a team environment
- Provide highest level of customer service to all clients
- Excellent attendance required, must have a Driver's License and reliable transportation, and a good work ethic
- Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving equipment & machinery parts, moving traffic, and fumes & airborne particles
- Regularly required to stand/walk, reach with hands and arms for up to 14 hours/day.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.85 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
