Modern Yardz, Inc. is a full service design and build landscape construction company. We specialize in the custom design and installation of outdoor living spaces. We are seeking a Landscape Sales Specialist to join our rapidly growing team.
The ideal candidate would have experience in Landscaping and Sales. He or she would be creative, understand the construction process, be articulate, likable, confident and have exceptional sales & skills.

Job Description:
Attend High-Quality Pre-set Leads
Listen to the clients needs and present ideas
Measure the yard or space and record all necessary information needed to complete the design by our in house landscape architects/designers (Familiarity with VIP 3D a plus but not necessary)
Present design plans and quote to clients and adjust plans as needed.
Provide clients with proposals & finalize design/build contract by closing the deal
Communicate effectively with the Project Manager and the rest of the team to ensure the landscape installation goes according to planned.
Follow-up with previous leads and previous clients; scheduling follow-up appointments to review the final project and/or to discuss new opportunities
Grow your referral business
All projects are managed by one of our highly experienced Project Managers, you will work together to ensure the project is installed but will not need to be on site daily. Our goal is to ensure the Design Sales Specialist is out selling while our Project Managers are on-site managing day to day activities during installation.
Job Requirements:
Prior experience in the Home Improvement Industry (specific experience in Landscaping, Landscape design, Pavers and/or the Synthetic Turf industry would be a ideal)
2-3 years of Outside Sales Experience
Proficient in all Google products (Google Docs, Drive, etc.)
Ability to learn and use a CRM system
Strong communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work well with management and project managers
Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills
Positive attitude; willing to go the extra mile
Flexible schedule with the ability to work occasional Saturdays
Ability to travel to in person appointments - MUST live in the San Diego area and have reliable transportation
This is a commission based position. Commission is above industry standard for the role and is uncapped. This is a full time position.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
