Job Responsibilities:
- Operator the Screed/Paver Augers and feed to regulate material flow
- Signal machine operator for starts and stops
- Check and ensure distribution of material is uniform
- Turns handwheels “Screws” to modify angle and depth of screed
- Utilize depth gauge to verify depth on compacted asphalt
- Conduct daily maintenance
- Keep Safe work environment
- Must be able to work as a team player
- Performs other duties as directed by supervisor
Skills Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience:
- Previous experience on paving construction materials, equipment, and processes
- High School Diploma/GED (Preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crawling, climbing, and lifting items up to 50+ pounds
- Should be available to work overtime during peak season
