Traffic Control Specialist/Flagger

Job Description:
Direct the safe flow of traffic using signs and hands signs in conjunction. Control
movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic through the work zones. Discusses traffic plans with supervisor. Assists the lead/TCS in set-ups, tear downs, and other responsibilities as needed. Warns construction workers when approaching vehicles fail to heed signals to prevents accidents/injuries. May have to work in teams to meet certain road requirements.

Job Requirements:
1. Must maintain good hygiene
2. Valid Drivers License preferred
3. Ability to stand for long periods of time (12+ hours per day if needed)
4. Must work well with others
5. Must be alert and aware of your surroundings
6. Must be able to work in harsh weather conditions
7. Must wear proper PPE at all times (Hardhat, reflective vest, etc…)
8. Must be willing to work hard and be dependable
9. Must be willing to work Monday – Saturday
10. Must be at least 18 years old
11. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively using proper lifting techniques

Compensation:
1. Paid on a weekly basis
2. Starts at $17.50 per hour

4. PTO available - 4 Hour PTO above Hourly Pay for Saturday Work- Night Pay
