Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate activities on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management with emphasis on brick pavers/landscaping and be proficient in reading blueprints and schematics. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for guiding your team, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Duties
- Lead and manage a team of construction workers on-site to ensure project goals are met.
- Interpret and implement project plans, blueprints, and schematics to guide construction activities.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to facilitate smooth operations.
- Utilize construction management software such as Prolog and Bluebeam for project scheduling and documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Train team members on the proper use of tools and equipment, including the use of an ohmmeter for electrical tasks.
- Monitor progress against project timelines and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Maintain clear communication with project managers regarding any issues or changes in scope.
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics.
- Experience with project scheduling tools and construction management software, including Bluebeam and Prolog.
- Strong knowledge of construction site operations, safety protocols, and contract requirements.
- Ability to build effective teams through leadership, training, and motivation.
- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for electrical measurements is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot on-site issues effectively.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks while ensuring quality outcomes.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
