Our company is growing quickly and we are currently seeking a Retail Sales Associate to assist our New Hope location!
Job Summary
Fitz’s Fish Ponds is looking for a part time Retail Associate that can be a jack of all trades in a retail store. Ranging from using a cash register, selling koi, aquarium maintenance and outdoor yard work. Must have weekend availability and be willing to work up to 6 days a week between the months of March-August.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner
- Operate cash register
- Clean and maintain koi, plant, and aquarium tanks
- Maintain outdoor space including but not limited to leaf blowing, weeding, and plantings
- Restock and clean shelves
- Understand when a customer can be referred to another department within the organization such as Construction or Service, and capture all relevant information
Requirements:
- Experience as a Retail Sales Associate
- Some knowledge about ponds (not necessary but a plus if you do)
- Basic math skills
- Experience running a cash register
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform under pressure
- High School diploma or higher
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs
Job Type: Part time, 20-28 hours
Salary: $16-$18 per hour
