Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the estimating process for paver projects, ensuring accurate pricing and cost control while fostering strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Duties
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects.
- Utilize software tools to create comprehensive bid proposals.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates align with project specifications and budgets.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing.
- Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle, implementing cost control measures as necessary.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

Experience
- Experience in construction estimating, with a strong understanding of pricing strategies and cost control methods.
- Familiarity with construction principles and practices.
- Proficient in using estimating software.
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully securing favorable contract terms.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and make informed decisions based on financial metrics.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration across teams.
