Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Crew member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the road maintenance crew by riding ahead on a golf cart and making sure the roadways are free from debris and garbage. This will be your primary task, but the tasks stated below could also fall under your responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Perform mowing and landscape maintenance to ensure the grounds are tidy and well-groomed.
- Execute lawn care tasks including fertilization, aeration, and weed control.
- Maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Dig and prepare areas for planting or installation of new landscape features.
- Provide tree care services including pruning, trimming, and removal as necessary.
- Build and repair structures such as fences or garden beds to enhance outdoor spaces.
- Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate various landscaping tools and machinery.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality work in maintaining landscapes.
- A valid driver's license may be required for operating company vehicles or equipment on-site.
