Position Summary:
The Landscape Foreman is a perfect fit for someone who loves to get their hands dirty and face a new challenge each and every day! As the leader facilitating each project, this important role is very rewarding!
The Foreman’s primary responsibility is to manage and oversee landscaping jobs and ensure that the work is getting done efficiently and effectively by all crew members. The Foreman will be working alongside management to ensure jobs are completed to scope. This role will include training others and managing the crew to ensure each person has a specific task at the job. They will also be performing many landscape tasks on the job site as well.

Performance Objectives
- Gathers tools and equipment for the job, Ensure crew will have all items necessary for the project
- Lead a team of 3-4 crew members to complete all types of landscape jobs. (Sod, Planting, Hardscapes, Mulch Installation, etc.)
- Promote efficiency by ensuring all employees on the crew are staying on task
- Manages job sites with regard to budgeted labor and material.
- Completes job walkthroughs with clients before and after projects to ensure 100% satisfaction.
- Assists and trains laborers on how to complete landscape tasks and operate all machinery & tools
- Performs landscaping tasks such as edging, spreading mulch, planting, digging, raking, shoveling, weed wacking, bush trimming
- Operate equipment including but not limited to a Skid Steer, Excavator, rototiller, weedwacker, hedge trimmer, blower, etc
- Drives company trucks and trailers to and from job sites.
- Creates a positive work environment for everyone on the crew
- Supports the vision of Double A Landscaping by following all company policies and being a leader and example to other employees
Capabilities/Key Competencies
- Able to identify and solve problems in a timely manner
- Sound and accurate judgment and reasoning for decisions
- Knowledge of processes for Landscaping jobs (Sod, Cleanups, Bed Installation, Retaining walls, Paver Patios).
- Ability to perform landscaping tasks such as edging, spreading mulch, planting, digging, raking, shoveling, weed wacking, bush trimming
- Ability to effectively and efficiently operate a bobcat & other landscape equipment to perform job tasks
- Ability to manage and delegate tasks effectively to crew members
- Ability to accurately estimate materials for jobsite
- Clearly communicates with customers about job status, procedures. Etc to maintain Double A reputation
- Knowledge of safety procedures and requirements for operating all Double A equipment
- Driving landscape trucks with trailers
- Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles
- Measures self against standard of excellence
- Fluent with technology. Able to complete all necessary company paperwork
Education and Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 2 Years Professional Landscape experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to work long physical hours
- Ability to work outside for extended periods of time despite weatherconditions which may include but is not limited to heat, cold, rain, snow

Pay: $850.00 - $1,600.00 per week
