Responsibilities of position
1. The Flagger is responsible for directing traffic throughout post hurricane activities, Direct traffic safely around construction sites or roadwork zones.
2. Use hand signals and flags to communicate with drivers and pedestrians.
3. Set up and maintain traffic control devices, such as cones and signs.
4. Monitor traffic flow and adjust signals as necessary to ensure safety.
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
6. Communicate with construction crews to coordinate work and traffic management.
7. Remain alert and vigilant to potential hazards or emergencies.
8. Provide assistance to motorists and pedestrians as needed.
9. Report any incidents or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
10. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on traffic control practices.
Additional Information
- Monday - Friday (7AM-6PM)
- 2 month project
- Dress code: Sneakers, boots, cargo pants or jeans, plain collared or non-collared shirt.
