BSM Facility Services Group - Leading building maintenance company established in 1979 is growing throughout Concord and beyond. We are looking for self-motivated individuals to perform a variety of commercial property landscape maintenance, installation and Irrigation tasks serving our clients and building owners in offices, retail plazas, and industrial facilities. The more experience you have; the better. We like to promote within!
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferred 5+ years’ experience in a related field
- Landscape Installation Experience: 2 years (Required)
- Work without supervision and also within group settings.
- Leadership ability and teaching others on completing jobs safely and efficiently.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and guide others to success.
- Must speak, read and write English and Spanish.
- Effective communication with customers and co-workers.
- Excellent time organization and management skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-level quality work.
- Comprehensive understanding of documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
- Reading and understanding blue prints, is a plus.
- Prepare work performance reports and correspondence via company emails.
OTHER SKILLS:
- Skilled at installing plants, trees, and lawns.
- Possess a knowledge of the water needs of plants, trees and lawns.
- Complete understanding of how irrigation systems work including the various types of irrigation installations such as, spray, rotors and drip lines. Must know how to troubleshoot systems problems and how to make appropriate repairs.
- Must be able to install, program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers.
- Skilled at the handling and application of fertilizers and herbicides
- Experience with hardscape work such as small concrete jobs and paver systems.
- Expertise at installing edging, borders and pathways.
- Be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and work in outdoor climates.
- Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and climb ladders for multiple hours a day.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:30AM to 2:00 PM but, Hours May Vary
Work location: will vary but within same geographical area.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
