We are a full-service residential remodeling company looking to expand our work force. Based out of Northern VA, we work on all different types of projects including kitchens, bathrooms, additions, basements, porches and other various renovations. We are passionate about our company and strive ourselves on achieving high quality craftsmanship in any project we do.
Here are the various duties and responsibilities we are looking for in a potential new hire:
- Installing and framing wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work
- Designing and installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, insulation, drywall, and trim.
- Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges, recessed lights & hanging lights
- Calculating square footage of materials, proper materials to be used and what is required to finish for each job
- Working with clients, suppliers and other construction professionals
- Reading blueprints and designs and building according to specifications listed.
- Working together with other crew members to achieve high quality craftsmanship in an efficient manner
Some requirements for the job are:
- Previous work experience in carpentry or manual labor
- Creativity and design skills
- Experience of using hand and power tools such as drills, sanders, saws and nail guns
- Advanced cabinetry installation skills along with being creative to make adjustments in necessary
- Some general knowledge of building regulations and codes to be adhered to
