ROMCO Equipment Company is a highly successful Texas based family owned company within the construction, mining, paving and aggregate industries including but not limited to sales, rentals, parts and service of equipment. ROMCO has a division called ROMCO Power Systems where we sell and maintain compressors, generators, light plants, industrial pumps, and rebuilt/new engines. ROMCO has a division called ROMCO Paving Equipment where we sell and maintain Asphalt and Concrete Pavers, Rollers, Volumetric Mixers, Distributor Trucks, Chipspreaders, Hydroseeders, as well as other products . ROMCO’s looking to hire a qualified Field Mechanic that will be responsible for servicing and maintaining both of the above product lines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish ROMCO Power Systems and ROMCO Paving Equipment as a premier paving and power solutions provider within the Texas market Responsible for diagnosing problems, ordering parts, completing repairs Completes repairs within performance standard guidelines (repair time, quality, labor efficiency). Contributes to building excellent company/customer relationships Interact with customers and service all aspects of ROMCO Power Systems and ROMCO Paving Equipment .
Desired Skills and Experience
High school or equivalent education with at least 3-5 years of experience within this industry. Technical certifications in power generation, industrial pumps, and engines is preferred but not required.
