Overview
Join our team as an asphalt laborer, where you’ll play an essential role in road construction and maintenance. Responsibilities include:
- Raking, sweeping, and shoveling asphalt
- Flagging and directing traffic
- Maintaining the job site to meet safety standards
Asphalt laborers assist with pouring, smoothing, and setting asphalt on roads, pathways, and parking lots. You’ll work closely with equipment like tractors, mills, pavers, and screeds to ensure high-quality results.
Key Qualifications:
- Ability to handle the physical demands (e.g., standing for long periods, lifting up to 90 lbs.)
- Strong hand-eye coordination
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery (a plus)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safety at all times
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (with potential for overtime)
