Job Overview:
As a Traffic Control Flagger, you will be responsible for directing traffic safely through construction zones and other road maintenance projects. You will maintain safe traffic flow, communicate effectively with other team members, and ensure compliance with all traffic control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and control traffic through construction sites to ensure the safety of workers, drivers, and pedestrians.
- Set up and remove traffic control signs, cones, and barricades.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with construction crews and drivers.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and represent Solaren Risk Management with the highest level of integrity.
- Ensure traffic control operations meet all local, state, and federal requirements.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- ATSSA certification (training provided by Solaren Risk Management).
- Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
