Growing, fast-paced remodeling and construction contractor looking to hire an experienced Carpenter for our many residential renovation projects.
Must have a driver’s license, clean or close to clean driving record, and be able to pass a background check.
Must be self-directed and able to work alone when needed, but also be a team player who can coordinate with a partner or crew on larger projects.
At least 5 years of experience in the remodeling and building trades is required for this position.
Some of the tasks you could be asked to perform on our projects would be:
1. demo- interior and exterior
2. light framing
3. basic trim work- cabinets, baseboards, shoe, casing, etc.
4. basic plumbing- able to set a toilet, hook up fixtures, hook up a sink, etc.
5. basic electric- able to hook up a fixture or redevice something, move a box, etc.
6. drywall- mostly repairs and small jobs like a bathroom
7. painting/ staining
8. flooring- click and glue LVT and/ or laminate
9. tile work would be a plus
10. punch list work (towel bars, cabinet pulls, etc.)
11. install windows and doors
12. decking and railing
13. siding/ gutters/ shingles- mostly repair work or something small
Familiarity with basic technology concepts (sending photos using a phone, using Microsoft Office programs) is a plus, as most of our paperwork and job info is digital.
Our employees report to the office each morning and use company vehicles, and many of the tools are provided.
