We are looking for an experienced asphalt paving foreman with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. This position will be expected to coordinate tasks relative to paving and grading operations work on residential, commercial, and industrial job sites. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and career-driven with leadership qualities.
Job Responsibilities – What will you do?
- Understands the various aspects of the paving industry including preparatory work, grades, drainage, mix designs, job plans & specifications, compaction and other details related to asphalt paving.
- Trains, coaches, and effectively leads a crew of 5-10 team members by delegating tasks to ensure daily productions are met or exceeded.
- Schedules trucking, equipment, and labor needs with superintendent for upcoming work.
- Engages in open communication with the superintendent and project managers. Quickly reports any issues which could affect the project plan.
- May be responsible for operating asphalt paver (screed side) while paving or other equipment as needed during different phases of the job.
- Communicates with asphalt plant operators throughout the course of the workday.
- Submits timecards daily capturing production, equipment and labor utilized for completed tasks.
- Communicates with crew members and management to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

- 5 years paving experience including roadways and ability to lead a crew
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Candidate must be able to read blueprints and set up lasers.
- Focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Pass Drug test prior to employment
- Valid Driver’s License

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
