Qualifications:
· Valid Driver License/Clean 3yr Driving History (MVR) Required at Interview
· 2 year of certified flagging experience preferred
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; may require to work in adverse weather conditions.
· Requires the ability to meticulously follow all safety policies and procedures.
· Possess a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
Job Description:
- Coordinate, setup, manage local traffic for planned construction and utility projects.
- Operate up to 2 sets (4 total) of our state-of the-art AFAD’s using a tablet.
- Direct drivers and pedestrians around roadblocks and conditions.
- Set up signs and cones to notify oncoming traffic of workers in the area to ensure worksite is safe.
- Set up physical traffic barriers, direct, and slow down traffic.
- Assist and direct construction vehicles when entering and exiting roadway.
- Communicate with other traffic control workers using two way radio, signs, and hand signals when required
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Year round work
