Job Purpose:
The Flagger's responsibilities include informing motorists of possible detour routes, reporting disobedient drivers to law enforcement officials, answering motorists’ questions, and keeping all members of our construction crews safe.
Position Type:

- Monday - Friday
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Use hand signals and direction signs to direct traffic around road construction sites.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure the safety of all.
- Perform weekly inventory on flagging and safety equipment
- Delivering exceptional service and protection to our clients.
- Appropriately position warning and detour signs around construction sites.
- Managing traffic flow effectively with stop/slow paddles.
- Remove all signs, barricades, and traffic cones upon completion of construction work.
- Complete daily paperwork detailing hours worked, location and materials used.
Education, Skills and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hours a day and lift 50-60 lbs.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and traffic settings.
- Experience driving.
- Must pass pre-employment screenings, including a drug test as this is a safety sensitive role.
- No experience Needed (Entry level position).
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in harsh weather conditions.
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hours a day and lift 50-60 lbs.
- Availability to work 10+ hours per day.
- Availability for on-call emergency hours.
