As our Yacht Service Engineer, your role is to diagnose and perform general repairs of our clients yachts. This job requires you to travel between local marinas and homes in order to perform tasks/repairs. The scope of work you can expect to perform is but not limited to:
1. Replacing Electrical Components (Lightbulbs, fixtures, Breakers, Switches, etc)
2. Diagnosing/Troubleshooting electrical failures (AC and DC)
3. Plumbing (Replacing Pumps, Hoses, Clamps, Fittings, Valves, etc)
4. Working on Boat systems: Air Conditioners, Water Heaters, Water-makers, etc.
5. Sanding, Painting, Caulking
6. Minor Carpentry
7. Retro-fitting/Customized installations
Ideal Candidates will have:
1. Clean background
2. Reliable Transportation
3. Valid Drivers license
4. Developed Customer service skills and etiquette
5. Basic understanding of yacht systems (electrical AC/DC, water, sanitation, Air conditioners, etc)
6. Previous work experience (boatyard, yacht crew, mate, deck hand, engineering, etc)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

- Marine Plumbing: 2 years (Required)
- Gelcoat repair: 2 years (Preferred)

- Marine AC Electrical: 2 years (Required)
- Marine DC Electrical: 2 years (Required)
- Marine Sanitation: 2 years (Required)
