Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Traffic Controller/Flagger to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the public.
Duties
- Direct traffic flow to ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians, and motorists
- Set up and remove traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades.
- Communicate effectively with construction crews to coordinate traffic control activities
- Monitor traffic patterns and adjust controls as needed
- Maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on-site
Qualifications
- Driver License is mandatory.
- Clean Driving Record
-Experience in traffic control/Flagger or related field preferred
- A Professional Certification in the American Traffic Safety Services Aasociation (ATSSA) would be an advantage.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Strong Knowledge and understanding of traffic rules.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Knowledge of safety and traffic control devices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
