Scott Paving LLC is currently searching for a full-time Paving Operator to join their team in Kent, Ohio!

Pay: $32 – $40/hour, offer dependent on position and experience

Schedule:

The right candidate will have:

Must have 2+ years of experience operating a paving machine
Experience operating asphalt pavers and rollers preferred
Driver’s license and safe driving record
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-starter attitude and the ability to work under limited supervision
Good hand to eye coordination
Ability to be flexible with last-minute changes such as location, schedule, and time of shift

Our Asphalt Laborers will:

Safely and skillfully operate an asphalt paver, following all standard equipment procedures
Be responsible for consistency and uniformity of material compaction after being placed by hand or with paver
Maintain equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple maintenance checks and repair tasks
Perform general laborer duties as assigned
Maintain constant visual with screed operators, dump man and trucks in front of paver
Remain mindful of the areas surrounding the machine, watching for things such as ground utilities, curbs, gutters
