Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely while adhering to all operational guidelines.

Duties

Operate heavy equipment such as front loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, and loaders to perform tasks including digging, grading, and moving materials.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to coordinate work activities and ensure project timelines are met.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on construction sites.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any malfunctions or repairs needed.

Skills

Proficient in the operation of heavy equipment including front loader trucks, backhoes, bulldozers, and loaders.
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
Experience in commercial driving is preferred for transporting equipment as needed.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment on construction sites while following instructions from supervisors.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure safety and efficiency in operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
